UFC Great Chuck Liddell Offers to Help Train Ronda Rousey

Chuck Liddell, one of the greatest fighters in Ultimate Fighting Championship history, has offered to help train Ronda Rousey, the former bantamweight champion, if she wants it.

The UFC Hall of Famer, who is currently in San Francisco, was asked by TMZ about Rousey's trainer Edmond Tarvedyan. Liddell pointed out that if Rousey continues to train with Tarvedyan for a potential rematch with Holly Holm, the only woman to defeat her, Rousey would lose very badly, possibly even worst than the first time.

"Is it the guy that told her she could out strike Holly Holm?" Liddell said reported by TMZ.com. "Ronda's striking has greatly improved, he's done a great job with her striking -- but it's another step when you go against a professional striker."

He added, "I'll train her any time she wants."

Rousey's mother, AnnMaria Demars, has criticized Tarvedyan, calling him a "fraud."

After Rousey's loss to Holm, who is a former boxing champion, she was suspended from participating in any fights for 60 days due to medical purposes. Rousey was medically cleared on Dec. 9, 2015, almost one month after her fight, but the suspension time was not reduced.

"(I'm) really (expletive) sad," Rousey had said in her interview with ESPN The Magazine in December. "It might be three to six months before I can eat an apple, let alone take an impact."

According to UFC president Dana White, he expects Rousey to return in November.

"Holly Holm will fight Miesha Tate on March 5. The winner of that will fight Ronda, probably in November," White said, before added, "She's [Ronda] very intense. She's a badass. She'll be back."

Liddell is the record holder for the highest number of knockouts with 13.
