Louis Tomlinson shared his joy of receiving his newborn boy by posting its first ever photo on social media.

"Meet my little lad, Freddie," he wrote on Twitter via Celebuzz as he cuddled his baby boy who was born on Saturday.

Earlier, there have been numerous speculations what the 1D member and his baby mama, Briana Jungwirth named their firstborn.

Sources came up with names Conchobar or Connor in short, a name that Tomlinson is said to have betted on Nial Horran. Others also said that the baby will be named Sydney Rain.

On January 28, Tomlinson, however, posted that the baby is named Freddie Rain or Tommo.

The 23-year old stylist also confirmed the baby's name in January 23.

"Freddie Reign. Love of my life," she wrote as she cuddles the babe while it looks like they were still in the hospital room.

It was on January 23 Saturday that Tomlinson announced via Twitter the delivery of his son, Mirror recalled.

"I'm pleased to say my baby son was born yesterday :) He is healthy and pretty amazing :) I'm very happy! (sic)" he wrote.

It was followed by a message saying, "Daddy Daddy cool."

Louis also makes sure that his baby is well-provided for and is said to have contributed nearly £10,000 a month to his ex-girlfriend.

"Louis is doing everything he can to provide for mother and baby. He's very wealthy but is still being hugely generous in the amount he is giving... He's taking being a dad very seriously," a source said.

Meanwhile, Zayn Malik who is not in friendly, speaking terms with the new father is extending his well wishes to the newborn.

"Obviously I wish him the best of luck," he told the host. "His kid is cute as f**k so obviously I favorited it," Zayn told Dave Berry at the London Capital Breakfast Show as mentioned in Hollywood Life.

We're not talking on friend terms obviously, so that's as far as I can go, by favoriting his picture. We'll see if I get an invite [to visit the baby]."
