Lamar Odom Spotted Driven Around Town After Released From Medical Facility
Lamar Odom was seen inside a vehicle a day after his family announced that he will be moved to a private facility that has been arranged by his estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian.
In a photo posted on TMZ, the NBA star is driven around San Fernando Valley on Friday with a face that 'certainly doesn't look too worse for wear.' The driver cannot be seen in the photos.
Odom is also seen wearing a hoodie that tried to cover his face and eyes according to E! Online.
This is the first time that Lamar Odom made public appearance since he was found unconscious due to drug overdose in October at the Love Ranch Brothel in Crystal, Nevada. Since then, he was hospitalized at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles with Khloe Kardashian always on his side making medical decisions for him.
"I'm just there to support and care for him. But he's doing amazing and I'm so proud of the strength that he has to fight this battle that's his battle. I'm so grateful for everybody's love and concern because I do think it's coming from a good place," the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star once said in front of the media.
Within those three months, it was said that the 36-year old athlete is 'miraculously' coping from his condition. On Christmas, he was able to spend some time with kids from his ex-partner, Destiny Odom and Lamar Odom Jr. A selfie of the moment was posted on Instagram.
It was on Friday when Lamar Odom's aunt, JaNean Mercer made an official statement confirming the transfer of her nephew from the Cedar-Sinai Medical Center to an undisclosed private medical facility.
"It is with extreme gratitude and appreciation to all of you around the world who have prayed without ceasing for Lamar, that we announce his transition to the next stage of his miraculous recovery at a new facility. Lamar continues to make remarkable strides and we are asking that you continue to respect our privacy. Again we thank you all greatly, your support has been paramount in helping to uplift us during these past few difficult months," as mentioned in Yahoo News.
