UK Denounces ISIS Video showing Five Executions at the Hand of a ‘New Jihadi John’

The United Kingdom has denounced a video released by the Islamic State that shows five executions of alleged British spies at the hands of several masked men, one of whom spoke with an English accent. With the men, there was a younger boy dressed in military-style clothing who also spoke with a clear English accent.

In the video, which was released on Sunday but has not been verified independently, the masked man standing in the middle threatened the UK Prime Minister David Cameron, stating that one day ISIS, which is another name for the Islamic State, will takeover Britain.

The man said in the 10-minute long video, reported by BBC News:

"This is a message to David Cameron, O slave of the White House, O mule of the Jews. How strange it is that a leader of a small island threatens us with a handful of planes. One would have thought you'd have learned the lessons of your pathetic master in Washington and his failed campaign against the Islamic State."

The man is referencing Britain's participation in the U.S. led coalition in Iraq and Syria.

He also said, per CNN:

"Know that today, your citizenship is under our feet. And that our country, the Islamic State, is here to stay, and we will continue to wage jihad, break borders and one day, invade your land, where we will rule by the Sharia."

"We are examining the content of the video and the prime minister is being kept updated on that," Cameron's spokeswoman said. "It serves as a reminder of the barbarity of Daesh and what the world faces with these terrorists. It is also clearly a propaganda tool and should be treated as such."

The Daesh is an Arabic acronym that references the group.

The spokeswoman declined to comment on whether or not the men in the video were indeed British spies. Many of ISIS' previous claims have not been true.

The man in the video with the English accent has been dubbed the "new Jihadi John." The prior "Jihadi John," a member of the Islamic State, who was British, was killed an airstrike back in November. The airstrike in Raqqa had targeted the militant, who was known as Mohammed Emwazi.

Prior to his death, Emwazi had been featured in similar videos that were released by the terrorists.

After the executions were over, the young boy, who looks to be about four to five-years-old, encouraged people to go out and kill.

He said, "So go kill the kuffar [unbelievers] right over there."

The video comes after ISIS has been dealing with a lot of setbacks. The increased airstrikes in Syria have reportedly killed a lot of top members. In Iraq, the country's forces were able to take back Ramadi, which was under ISIS' control.
