Two Cleveland Browns players were arrested at a traffic stop early Friday morning, several media outlets have reported.

The Browns have announced that linebacker Armonty Bryant, who is second in team sacks with 5.5, will not be traveling with the team for this Sunday's game in order to sort out the legal matter.

De'Ante Saunders, who is on the Brown's practice squad, was the other player who was arrested.

The team's general manager, Ray Farmer, has stated that the situation is "extremely disappointing."

"These are charges that we take very seriously," Farmer said reported by ESPN.com. "The importance of responsible decision-making is something we continually stress to all members of our organization, which makes it extremely disappointing that these two individuals would put themselves in this situation by making such poor decisions."

The NFL will be investigating the case to see if either man violated the leagues' personal conduct policy. If they are found guilty, they could be punished via fines or a suspension.

The details regarding Bryant's arrest are unclear. Cleveland 19 News' Scott Taylor stated that Sanders was arrested while he was driving along the I-71 at 2:16 a.m. Sanders was reportedly speeding and was under the influence. The investigative reporter added that authorities found a gun and Adderall.

The Browns will play the Kansas City Chiefs.
