Duggar Kids Condemn Josh After Knowing About His Molestation Scandal In Jill And Jessa's 'Counting On'
The Duggar kids expressed their sadness and frustration towards Josh Duggar the "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" specials in TLC on Sunday.
In the limited episodes, people are shocked to hear the usually-silent and reserved, John-David Duggar speak up about his older brother misdeeds in their family and his recent confession regarding the Ashley Madisson scandal and his addiction to pornography.
"I always wanted to be like him. But one of the toughest things I had to tell my older brother was, I don't want to be like you anymore," John-David said in front of the cameras as reported in Fahion&Style.
Now, that Josh has been recuperating inside a special, spiritual rehab, John-David felt like taking over his older brother's responsibility in setting a good example to his younger siblings.
"It's a big load. It's a big weight upon me now. I've got a whole bunch of younger siblings looking up to me, and I've got to be an example to them," he adds, "Because whatever I am, that's what they want to be. I know that's how it was for me and Josh," he said during the show.
Fox News recounted that the special is all about the reaction of the Duggars toward Josh's revelation of his molestation scandal this May this year which had prompted TLC to pull out the show. At that time, it has been revealed that Josh molested four girls in his family and a babysitter.
More revelations came up in August as Josh confessed to having secret accounts in the infidelity website Ashley-Maddison. This has been followed by a confession from adult film actress Ashley Stamm-Northup, known as Danica Dillon who sued the reality TV star for allegedly forcing to have rough sex with him.
In the special episode with Megyn Kelly, sisters Jill and Jessa emphasized how important it is to have a forgiving heart in the wake of their older brother's revelations.
"We just have to understand that nobody is strong enough. That's why it's so important to set boundaries for ourselves and be accountable and just really focus on your relationship with the Lord and don't be a hypocrite and you have to be real, you have to be open," Jill said as mentioned in Hollywoodtake.
