Anna Duggar Opens Up About Josh Cheating Scandal; 'It Was Heartbreaking'
Anna Duggar appears on the promotional video of Jill and Jessa's 19 Kids And Counting spin-off, Counting On, and opens up, for the first time about husband Josh's cheating and molestation scandal.
Since its revelation on May this year, Anna avoided the media and has continued to support her husband while he is admitted in a rehab.
"It was heartbreaking to hear what had happened," the teary-eyed Anna said in the video which is posted on Friday, E! Online said.
Back in May, Anna implicitly talked about her husband's 'past teenage mistakes' in a statement before she accepted Josh's proposal to marry her.
"When you, our sweet fans, first met me when Josh asked me to marry him...I was able to say, 'Yes,' knowing who Josh really is-someone who had gone down a wrong path and had humbled himself before God and those whom he had offended," she once said in the statement together with Josh's parents.
In September this year, ET spoke with Amy Duggar, Josh's cousin, about Anna's emotional status.
Amy Duggar, who is married to Dillon King, described Anna as being 'strong' and 'taking the time for herself' and in raising her four kids.
Amy also said that the Duggars encouraged her in those troubled times.
"There is a reason God gives you family. It's for moments like this. We encourage her as much as we can," she said.
In those months, Anna and the rest of the Duggars are in the midst of more revelations from Josh's former lovers and the cheating site, Ashley Maddison.
One of these women is pornstar Danica Dillon who demanded $500,000 to compensate for the "physical and emotional injuries" Josh has inflicted on the rough sex he did to her, according to InTouch magazine.
Counting On will premiere in TLC on December 13.
