‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6 Spoilers: Episode 3 to feature Hoards of Walkers and a Bloody Death Scene?

The Walkers will be returning in episode 3 of "The Walking Dead."

In last Sunday's episode, viewers watched as the barbaric group known as The Wolves infiltrated and attacked the people of Alexandria Safe-Zone. As exciting as it was to watch Carol move around like an assassin, showing The Wolves no mercy at all, we barely saw any of the walkers.

In this Sunday's episode, however, expect to see a lot of walkers. Andrew Lincoln, who plays the group's leader, Rick Grimes, spoke with Entertainment Weekly about the season.

"Two and 3 are nonstop crazy action. It's insane," Lincoln teased. "The next eight episodes are all huge. I mean they're kinetic, but also the scale of it. It feels like a season finale each episode and the ambition of each episode. They're very different. Four is incredible, it's like an indie movie in the middle of Walking Dead, it's crazy. And then 5, 6, 7, 8 - it just keeps building and building. You'll see that the show opens up. We've been looking internally for so long, it's like everybody lifts their eyes to the horizon this season and it opens up a whole new world. It's amazing."

Although Lincoln did not talk about what will happen in episode 3 specifically, based on the first two episodes, it seems like the group will have to fight off the walkers before heading home. One character, unfortunately, will not make it.

According to The Spoiling Dead Fans website, Nicholas will choose to end his own life after he gets surrounded by walkers.

The site writes, via Melty.com:

"Glenn and Nicholas are on top of a dumpster surrounded by walkers. Nicholas starts to have a panic attack or something. Slow motion shit with ringing sounds over the top. He pulls out a gun and says thank you to Glenn and boom! Glenn gets a face full of blood. As he falls off the dumpster he ends up pushing Glenn off. Not on purpose or anything, it's like Glenn tried to catch him and they both tumble off. Walkers then rip Glenn's chest apart."

The Glenn death scene, however, is most likely not real since actor Steve Yeun is signed on for the rest of the season. The site argues that Glenn will have a vision about Nicholas' haunting death and in the dream, Glenn falls into the walkers with Nicholas.

The IMDB description for this episode reads:

"Rick and his group get caught up in a dangerous little town on the road back to Alexandria. Meanwhile, Daryl, Sasha and Abraham continue to lead away the remaining walkers away from the safe-zone."

Episode 3, titled "Thank You," will air at 9 p.m. ET on AMC this Sunday.
