Captain America (Chris Evans) will have numerous enemies in Marvel's next superhero movie, "Captain America: Civil War." Although most of his enemies will be members from the Avengers who choose to side with Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), fans should not forget that there is still one main and real villain.

Daniel Brühl, who plays the main bad guy, Baron Zemo, teased fans about an unexpected twist that the directors, Joe and Anthony Russo, have planned. In the comics, Zemo is mad scientist who is a former member of the Nazi party, which existed during World War II. Since the movie will be set in modern time, Brühl stated that the directors have found an interesting way to use the character.

"You would be surprised, it's different than what you'd think," Brühl said to Business Insider while promoting his upcoming film, "Burnt." "It's loosely connected to this character. But that's what I like about the Marvel guys, some of the characters and things they're dealing with always reference to current events so my character is from a different area than you would think."

Brühl revealed that he would not be wearing the character's signature purple mask. In the comics, Zemo cannot remove the mask after he gets Adhesive X spilled all over him during a fight against Captain America. Brühl also hinted to the possibility that his character can return for future movies.

"Captain America: Civil War" will pick up where "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" left off. In the movie, there will be a lot of tension and friction between Captain America and Iron Man. The divide will force members of the Avengers to choose sides.

Rumors are claiming that Spider-Man, Black Widow, War Machine, the Vision and Black Panther will choose to support Iron Man whereas Hawkeye, Falcon, Agent 13 and Ant-man will side with Captain America. Some rumors are claiming that Spider-Man will change sides.

"Captain America: Civil War" is set to hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
