The 51-year old star has demonstrated the true actions a mother should withstand as she has finally confronted her black son to the obnoxious certainties of the world. Being an advocate of human rights as well as discrimination concerns, Sandra has finally used her intuitions to shed light on a common, prevalent topic.
Being a mother of a five-year old Louis, Sandra claims that it is imperative to clarify the young kids on the subject of predominant issues such as sexism and racism.

The ‘Miss Congeniality’ was recently approached by BET.com as she was seen promoting her forthcoming masterpiece titled as ‘Our Band Is Crisis’, when she was asked about Louis's thoughts on the matter of Racism.
According to her, she has been facing trials as being a mother of an adopted son from New Orleans, she believes it is essential to tackle the challenges with utter astuteness.
‘Absolutely, it’s an open conversation we have,’ Sandra said. ‘He fully understands what that means’.
She has finally groomed her child with reference to the topic of racism and claims that Louis remains indifferent to the fact that how people can be judgmental towards each other on the basis of certain subjective elements.
‘He also knows that there's sexism, he knows that there's homophobia,’ she added. ‘He knows a lot for a five-and-three-quarter-year-old. But I think if you don't start the conversation very early on, you're doing them a disservice’.
Sandra would like her child to be mentally as well as physically aware of the harsh realities surrounding him. According to her, she does not want to mislead her child by not acquainting him with different dimensions of life and considers that such issues should be emphasized at an early age as a part of personality development.
Being an affectionate mother as well, Sandra is currently soaking up the sights with her photographer lover boy. The ‘Gravity Star’ is engaged in an intimate association with Bryan Randall, which is a pretty serious one. The photographer and his current lady are often seen together, caressing one another on various occasions.
Sandra is currently occupied in promoting ‘Our Bands Is Crisis’ which will hit the theatres on October 30th, this year.
