‘Dance Moms’ Season 6 Spoilers: Abby Lee Miller Continues to Film Despite Fraud Charges
Filming for "Dance Moms" season 6 is going on without a hitch.
According to a spoiler site for the Lifetime reality TV show about young dancers and their mothers, Dance Moms Wiki, Abby Lee Miller and dancers from her Abby Lee Dance Company Los Angeles (ALDC LA) attended the New York Dance Experience this past Saturday, just a few days after the dance teacher was indicted on bankruptcy fraud charges.
The girls did not place as well in this competition, which was held in Calabasas, California. The website stated that the team's contemporary group number, "Hungry Like the Wolves," that was performed to Janine and the Machine's "Animal," placed first in the senior division. Overall, however, the routine came in second.
The individual solos did not do any better. Kendall Vertes' contemporary routine, "In the Mirror," ended up third in the junior devision while Mackenzie Ziegler's "jazz routine, "I Just Want to Stay Home and Eat Chips" placed fourth. Nia Frazer's "Feeling Me" jazz solo fared a bit better and placed second in the teen division.
Despite the lack off first-place wins, Miller posted a picture of her girls, stating that she is very proud of them.

Once again, Maddie Ziegler, 13, did not compete. Ziegler, who is arguably the show's most successful dancer, is busy filming "The Book of Henry" in New York City.
Miller and Lifetime have not commented about her 20-count indictment. The indictment stated that Miller lied about her income and hid $755,492.85 from the bankruptcy court. If convicted, Miller could end up serving five years in prison as well as paying a fine of $250,000 per count.
"Federal bankruptcy proceedings can be a lifesaver for honest individuals overwhelmed by debt resulting from any number of legitimate reasons, but allegations of fraud and abuse threaten the integrity of the bankruptcy process and the public's trust in it," said Scott S. Smith of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Pittsburgh Division. "We take our responsibility to pursue allegations of bankruptcy fraud seriously."
Miller's arraignment is set for November 5 in Pittsburgh, PA.
"Dance Moms" is expected to premiere next year.
