Mother Kills a 6-month Old Baby Girl by Throwing Her Out the Window of her Bronx Apartment
Police said that a 6-month old infant was found dead after her mother allegedly threw her out of the window of her Bronx apartment. This incident happened in the afternoon around 2 PM when the 27-year old mother dropped her baby from her 6th Floor apartment. When found, the baby was taken to the St. Barnabas Hospital where she was declared dead. The mother of the infant has been taken into custody and will be evaluated for psychiatric disorder. According to Gothamist, the mother has been identified as Tenisha Fearon. She has three other children aged 10, 8 and 4 that were there in the apartment at the time of this incident but none were harmed.
Bronx District Attorney's Deputy Chief, Rene Aponte, said that when the mother threw her girl out of the window, she was still alive and naked. The children watched in shock as their mother threw her out of the window. As per the account of witnesses, she dangled the little girl out of the window and yelled about the devil and how the world is at the brink of its end. The neighbors witnessing the scene started shouting, asking her to not do it. All those who saw the incident said that Fearon was screaming about god, Satan and the end of days, as she threw things and then finally her infant girl, reported Eyewitness news.
There were three other children in the house during the incident and were lying circular on the floor, naked. The police took the kids and placed them in New York City's child welfare agency. The children's service administration is investigating the matter and will ensure the well being of the children, said the Guardian
