'Big Bang Theory' Stars Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki Slam Dating Rumors

Penny and Leonard are not dating in real life!

Kaley Cuoco dispelled rumors that she is dating her "Big Bang Theory" co-star, Johnny Galecki. Cucuo, who is divorcing Ryan Sweeting, set the record straight on Instagram after rumors started claiming that Galecki, who Cuoco dated for two years before splitting in December 2009, caused her marriage to fall apart.

Cucuo uploaded a picture of herself fist bumping Galecki with a caption that read, "So sorry to disappoint, but no home wreckers or secret flings going on here. Me and @sanctionedjohnnygalecki are just the best of buds- Leonard and Penny will just have to suffice!!!"

Galecki uploaded a similar picture and wrote, "No scandals / home wreckers / pregnancies here, y'all. Just profound friendship. @normancook"

Cuoco and Galecki's characters on the comedy show, Penny and Leonard, got married in season nine. Prior to her divorce, Cuoco had commented about her close relationship with Galecki.

"Well, we dated like 5 years ago," she said while on Watch What Happens Live. "So I think we've both moved on. And Johnny's actually one of my best friends. It's a situation that ended well.

Cuoco added, "Ryan loves him, Johnny loves him. It's been a long time, so it's great. I got lucky. It could have been horrible

Cuoco filed for divorce at the end of September after nearly two years of marriage. The initial rumors were claiming that the 29-year-old actress wanted a divorce because Sweeting could not quit his addiction to painkillers.

"[Kaley] supported [Ryan] but she said he couldn't make the commitment to get sober," an insider had said. "He'd tell her he was working on it and instead go get wasted...Kaley told friends (that) doctors prescribed something that he was taking too much of. That was when it went downhill again."

The insider added, "She didn't want to get divorced, but felt she had no choice. She couldn't fix him. He wasn't the man she thought he was. She couldn't take his ups and downs. He'd lash out at her."

Since announcing her divorce, Cuoco has been seen hanging out with her family and friends. The avid horse rider also got a new horse.
