Shia LaBeouf Arrested for Public Intoxication in Texas
Shia LaBeouf cannot seem to avoid running in with the law.
The 29-year-old actor known for his roles in the "Transformers" movies and the TV series "Even Stevens," was arrested for public intoxication in Austin, Texas Friday night. LaBeouf, who was in town for the Austin City Limits music festival, was picked up outside of a bar on 6th street.
According to TMZ, LaBeouf had received a warning by the police for jaywalking. The police ended up arresting him after his antics continued. He was booked into the Travis County Jail and released later. Witnesses stated that based on his bizarre behavior, LaBeouf was either really high from drugs or very intoxicated.
This is not the first time that LaBeouf has been arrested for intoxication. Last summer, LaBeouf was arrested for disrupting a Broadway performance of "Cabaret" in New York City. He had told Ellen DeGeneres that jail was very hard
"They put a Hannibal mask on me and a lead jacket and it was just really rough," he said to the TV host last October.
Aside from being arrested, LaBeouf got into a huge fight with his ex-girlfriend Mia Goth in Germany. During that fight, which was recorded, LaBeouf had gotten into a car and told the passengers that he "would have killed her" if he had stayed.
LaBeouf and his rep have not commented on the latest incident.
