Black Friday, Cyber Monday Frenzy Brings Samsung Galaxy S5 For Just $1
Best Black Friday and Cyber Monday deal can be found on Samsung flagship, with the Galaxy S5 going on sale for just $1.
This is the best shopping time of the year and retailers make it worthy by offering steep discounts. In the U.S., the carriers are joining the race to offer Samsung's flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S5, for just $1. With qualifying contracts, of course, major carriers including Verizon, Sprint and AT&T are giving away the handset for the discounted price. Previously, the Galaxy S5 was sold for $199 with a two-year contract, which means shoppers make a cool $198 savings with the new deal.
Amazon is also stepping in by giving the Galaxy S5 for $1 with a two year contract with any national carrier.
If customers prefer going without a contract, Sprint and T-Mobile are offering the monthly installment repayment plan for the Galaxy S5. Under Sprint's Easy Pay program, customers can get the Samsung flagship by paying 18.75 per month for 24 months. The carrier is also offering the rugged Galaxy S5 Sport for the same price.
T-Mobile's equipment installment program allows customers to pay $21.20 per month for 24 months to get the Galaxy S5.
Other retailers such as Best Buy, Radio Shack and Walmart, are offering similar deals on the Galaxy S5, with $0 or $1 for the smartphone with contract. For a prepaid connection, customers can opt for AT&T's subsidiary Cricket Wireless to get the device for just $295, half of its regular $589.99 price tag.
Samsung Galaxy S5 is a high-end piece but failed to gain enough traction in the competitive market. It sports a 5.1-inch Full HD screen with 16MP rear camera and 2MP front shooter. It has a 2,800mAh removable battery and expandable memory via microSD. If you are on a budget, then Samsung Galaxy S5 makes for a great deal.
