Burger King’s Black Bun Whopper will Turn Your Poop Green
Beware of your poop if you have just eaten the black bun whopper from Burger King!
According to many social media posts from people who have eaten the A.1. Halloween Whopper, the burger will cause your poop to come out green.
Some of the tweets read:
"The Halloween Whopper turns your poop green. And not even sickly green. Like cartoon green. Comical green." - @johnkritzman
"Took like three days for my poop to stop being green, but was totally worth it, @BurgerKing" - @ImHunterStanton
"Yo @BurgerKing your Halloween Whopper turned my poop SUUUUPER green! It was bomb tho." - @PopStarWill
"The spookiest part of the Burger King Halloween Whopper is the fact that it makes your poop ectoplasmic green." - @Roiju_
"#HalloweenWhopper #GreenPoop is a real thing. Don't get to scared after eating it like I did." - @RagingSkittlez
"I want to try the Burger King black whopper, for no other reason than seeing my poop turn green. #GreenPoop" - @amsaltzman
Soon enough, #greenpoop was trending on Twitter.
Burger King revealed to ABC News that the bun contains less than one percent of food dye. They did not specific what kind of dye they used, however. The company added that the food colorings and flavorings listed "are commonly used in the industry and within the safe and Acceptable Daily Intake (ADI) approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)."
Burger King first introduced the black bun burger in Japan last year. The company stated that they used bamboo charcoal to give the bun its color.
