Kardashians News Update: Reality TV Family's 'America's First Family' Title In Cosmopolitan Met Backlash

The Kardashians are considered 'America's First Family' as what Cosmopolitan said in the front page of their next issue set to be in newsstands on October 13. However, such stately title met harsh criticism and backlashing from netizens saying that the news outlet has tiptoed on the President Obama's family who bears the title, legally.

A picture of the women's magazine as shown in Perez Hilton shows six of the Kardashians and Jenners with their matriarch-Kris Jenner and reality TV queen Kim Kardashian with her other sisters, Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian, Kendall and Kylie dressed in matching white outfits.

The November issue is the Kardashian's second time to be featured in Cosmo with its first feature in 2011. However, this year, the family's personal details and success story is given ample focus as it will cover sixteen pages of the issue.

 However, many are enraged with Cosmo's label as it is viewed as disrespect to President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama and their daughters, Sasha and Malia.

"@kswills @MadeforMinaj @Cosmopolitan the disrespect is at an all time high. All the wannabe writers at Cosmo and nobody could do better?"

In some comments found in Twitter via Today, some netizens felt 'disgusted' and 'angered'.

"The anger at the Kardashian/Jenners being called "America's First Family" on the cover of @Cosmopolitan is real. As it should be."

"I am very disgusted with @Cosmopolitan magazine . Kardashian the first family that is truly disrespectful."

Some even would like to cancel their subscription and unfollow the magazine.

"This is America's First Family. And I cancelled my subscription today @Cosmopolitan."

However, sources viewed as this as a strategic ploy to shock the public and gain more attention as Cosmos editor-in-chief, Joana Coles nonchalantly welcome the comments saying, "May the conversation begin! We're celebrating our 50th BDAY w/the Kardashian/Jenner women."

This is not the first time that Cosmopolitan received backlashing with their words.
