Bobbi Kristina Brown Update: Nick Gordon Arrest is Allegedly ‘Imminent’
Nick Gordon's arrest in relation to the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown is "imminent," Daily Mail UK reported.
"In all likelihood it would be Seminole County that would make the arrest and when there's a question of it coming from another state as this would it's highly unlikely they'd trust him to turn himself in," an insider said to the website. "It would be a minimum of two cars sent and more if they thought there was any question of him resisting. And they wouldn't just let him walk in and walk out - he would have to be processed through court and bailed or spend a night in the cells if it happened too late in the day for the court to sit."
The arrest reports surfaced after the county medical examiner was able to pinpoint Bobbi Kristina's cause of death. The results, however, were sealed, leading many to speculate that the information could help the investigation figure out how Bobbi Kristina ended up face down and unconscious in her bathtub back in January.
"The Fulton County Medical Examiner has classified the cause and manner of Bobbi Kristina Brown's death," the office said in a press release last week (via the Inquisitr). "However, a Fulton County Superior Court Order dated September 25, 2015 has been received Sealing the Autopsy Report and ordering the Medical Examiner to not release any further information to the public."
Although the evidence does not necessarily point at Gordon, who was Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend/fiancé, Bobbi Kristina's father, Bobby Brown, has continued to suggest that Gordon is responsible.
Brown's statement, released by his attorney, Christopher Brown, read, "In regards to the civil litigation, we believe we know who harmed Bobbi Kristina Brown and his name is Nick Gordon. I look forward to having the Court hear the evidence in the civil suit and hopefully the criminal action very soon."
Bobbi Kristina, the daughter of the late music legend, Whitney Houston, died on July 26 at the young age of 22.
Gordon has been fighting a lawsuit that was filed by Bobbi Kristina's conservator, Bedalia Hargrove. The lawsuit initially accused Gordon of physically and emotionally abusing Bobbi Kristina with the goal of gaining her fortunes. On Aug. 7, the lawsuit was amended to include wrongful death.
Gordon is believed to be the sole suspect in the case, which "remains open and under investigation," the Fulton County District Attorney's office stated.
