Tupac Alive: Here's Why Some Swear Shakur's Still With Us

Nearly two decades after his death, rumors that Tupac (2Pac) Shakur lives refuse to die. One of the many theories claiming the rapper is alive, points fingers at Knight for having orchestrated the rapper's shooting and subsequent death.

Gawker had carried a report earlier this year listing questions casting doubt over Tupac's death. The last image of the rapper alive was taken with records producer Marion Suge Knight. The image purportedly shows Tupac and knight in a black car a day after he was shot. Tupac was reportedly shot on September 8, 1996.

Questions also abound as to why Suge Knight received no wounds despite sitting next to Tupac. Fourteen shots were fired at the rapper but Knight escaped unhurt. This has also led to speculations if the whole thing was planned by Knight. A video with Knight hinting Tupac had not died which emerged a few years ago, lends credence to his theory. It is also possible Knight may have wanted Tupac dead and ordered the hit.

The Gawker report also mentions that the shooters were never caught and the white Cadillac in which they drove after shooting the rapper, vanished into thin air.

Five days after the shooting, Tupac reportedly died. He was cremated the next day and the man who cremated him has since not been seen.

Tupac Shakur is considered the best rapper of all of time and it is anybody's guess why he would want to give it all up and fake his death. Mysteriously enough, seven of his albums have been released since his death and claims that they were recorded before his death, is questionable.
