ISIS just seems to be getting sinister with every passing day as they choose nuclear warfare to perform the largest religious cleansing in the history of the world, said veteran German Journalist who spent more than 10 days with the extremists, reported Mirror.

Jurgen Todenhofer escaped the terrorists alive after passing 10 chilling days with them. This 75-year-old journalist left his career of politics in 2000 to start war reporting. He was a former MP of Angela Merkel's CDU party according to Mirror. He survived on the frontline with the Jehadis in Syria along with Mohammed Emwazi, known to the world as Jihadi John.

After his return, the journalist reported that IS terror group wants to initiate a nuclear attack on the west and any other nation who opposes their plan of an Islamic Caliphate. He also said that as he arrived to the territory that is controlled by ISIS, he and his son were asked to hand over their phones to their host. Todenhofer claims to have been chatting with the terror group over skype before being allowed to travel into their territory. He also said that ISIS uses the beheading videos to instil terror into the people so that they can take over the area with much ease, said Daily Mail.

In his interview with Express, he shared that his family opposed his plans of going to this war torn nation. Knowing the threats, Jurgen already made arrangements for his will. He negotiated the safety and other security details with the terror group for several months before he finally left for Syria. He recounts his entire experience of dodging bullets, death threats and sinister plan of ISIS to conduct nuclear warfare in his book 'Inside IS - Ten Days In The Islamic State'.
