This upgrade has been released soon after Apple unveiled its latest iPhone 6s and 6s+. The update is said to make the Apple products work more efficiently and will make it more convenient. The version was released on 16th September and the users have appreciated the amazing upgrade. Just recently, it is also released another version 9.0.1 which fixes the bugs that were reported in the earlier version. The corrections to the bugs have been made in the next version along with other issues like alarms and timers not setting off, distortion of photos, frozen videos in Safari and the custom APN causes loss of data over a cellular connection, as reported by Venture Capital Post.

The good news for the users is that the latest version promises better battery life on their iPhones and iPads, multitasking feature, smarter Siri and lot of other features. However, the question is, is it worth the upgrade or not! The subtle changes in the interface is something you will not even notice for a couple of days. The type face is different which is different from the Helvetica typeface that was used in earlier versions. The Passbook in your iOS 8 has now become wallet in the latest version notifications appear in chronological order and can be cleared one by one or by the day. There is still no provision for an all clear option yet, says Guardian.

The most notable change is the app switcher that appears as you double tap the home button. The visuals have changed that now looks like cards. They are bigger in size and make it easier for you to see what is open on what app. iPads can use true multitasking feature that allow users to work on two things at the same time, as per Guardian.
