Sam Smith Finally Unveils Widely Anticipated Theme Song For Bond’s 'Spectre'
The British singer and songwriter; Sam Smith is once again on the role as he has been allotted with another hasty task. The vocalist has rolled up his sleeves to produce a theme song for the upcoming James Bond movie, titled as Spectre.
Smith, along with Jimmy Napes gathered the Grammy Award for “Stay With Me” as song of the year. Highlighted as “Writing’s on the Wall”, the approaching Bond’s work of genius has ultimately received a theme song which will once again be audience’s preferred track of the year.
"I have been dreaming of this moment for a long, long time," Smith tweeted after releasing the track. UK dance duo Disclosure tweeted their support earlier this month by announcing their official production credit on the track. In anticipation of the song's global release, Smith wrote on Instagram earlier this week that he was "very scared, very nervous, very excited.”
According to the assumptions, the song matches flawlessly with Bond’s temperament and the entire exploratory setup. Smith, earlier this week publicized a part of the track to tantalize the listeners. But now, he has finally unveiled the track and exclaimed that the song was composed impulsively as he remained level-headed throughout.
The singer is quite thrilled about the new release and expressed his desire to accomplish an Oscar for it just like Adele did for Skyfall. As per the rumors, the singer only took 20 minutes to deliver the track and is now keeping his fingers crossed for optimistic response.
Smith claims the fresh release to be the highlight of his career, he added: 'I am so excited to be a part of this iconic British legacy and join an incredible line up of some of my biggest musical inspirations.'
Smith is the four time Grammy Award Winner and is now the first British personality to regard Bond’s masterpiece by being a solo singer for Spectre, since 1965.
