Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas Relationship Update: Supermodel claims BF Asked her Out when She was 13

After seven years, Joe Jonas is finally dating the girl of his dreams.

Gigi Hadid, 20, recently opened up about how she and Jonas, 26, first met when she was 13.

"We met at the Grammys when I was 13 years old," Hadid said in response to a fan question on Periscope. "And he asked me to a baseball game, and I said, 'No.'"

She added, "I was so nervous; I literally didn't even know what it meant to hang out with a boy. And also, Grammys are on a Sunday, and I didn't want to tell him that I had school the next day, so I was like, 'No, maybe next time.' And then we've been friends ever since. Except now. We're more than friends. Obvs."

Hadid also revealed that Jonas, who would have been 19 at the time, gave his number to her mother, Yolanda Foster from "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." Some reports stated that it was very likely that Jonas was not aware of Hadid's young age at the time.

ET has pointed out that the supermodel was most likely 14 when she met Jonas based on photographic evidence. Hadid attended the 2010 Grammys with her stepfather David Foster and her mother, Yolanda where she would have met Jonas, who was still a part of his band, The Jonas Brothers.

There were no photographs of Hadid at the 2009 Grammys.

Jonas and Hadid began dating earlier this year after Hadid and Australian singer, Cody Simpson, broke up. The couple has packed on the PDA at several events, such as the US Open. Their relationship also seems to be going strong. Over this past weekend, when Jonas was playing a word association game in Las Vegas, he said "happiness" when the reporter said "Gigi."

The couple has also been the subject of wedding rumors. Several of these rumors claimed that Jonas knows Hadid is the one and wants her to be the mother of their future children. He allegedly plans on popping the question soon but an actual wedding would not take place until she is much older.

Jonas and Hadid have not commented on these rumors at all.
