Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are reportedly planning on expanding their family. According to the latest reports, the Hollywood power couple is in the process of finalizing an adoption.

The reports claimed that the 40-year-old actress/director fell in love with a boy from Syria. Jolie had met three brothers who were orphaned after their mother died in a bombing and their father was taken away by soldiers. Radar Online reported that Jolie originally wanted to take all three of them, but Pitt, 51, told her that as much as he would like to help them, adopting all three would be too much for their young family.

"Angie wanted to adopt all three, but when she got back to the United States, and told Brad about it, he said no," a source claimed. "Going from six children to nine was just way too much, and Brad was concerned about how it would impact their other kids. But Angie didn't put up a fight. She knew it just wouldn't work."

Jolie and Pitt then decided on adopting the eldest brother, who allegedly never left Jolie's side during her visit.

The source added, "It has been a very long process to adopt the Syrian orphan. The red tape has been almost impossible at times. It could take at least another four to five months before the child is brought to the United States."

The couple has six children together, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins, Vivienne and Knox.
