Duggars Still Reluctant To Forgive Josh, He Feels Like a 'Stranger'
In an Instagram post , Jessa (Duggar) Seewald said that the Duggar family is holding on tightly to their faith after the Josh scandal. However, they might not be ready to welcome Josh back in the family fold, according to etonline.
Her picture with a Bible page in Romans chapter 10, verses nine, 10 and 13, read: "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation ... For whomsoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Jessa had underlined parts of it, according to people.
This page has been posted just a few weeks following her stand against Josh, when she shared a Facebook post written by her father-in-law, Michael Seewald, in which he called Josh a "hypocritical Christian."
However, even as her latest Instagram post makes it seem as if she is supporting her brother, another family source said that it has to take time to forgive him.
"It is going to take a long time before we forgive," the source said. "In the long term, eventually, we will forgive, it will be in our best interest to forgive. Won't happen soon. Won't happen fast. Just because we forgive doesn't mean we trust ever again. We are still extremely upset. We are all still hurt. Josh is still in rehab, nobody is warm and fuzzy to him yet. It still feels like he is a stranger."
Meanwhile, Jill (Duggar) Dillard and her husband Derick Dillard are still pursuing their mission work in Central America."Jill's heart is with her mission," the source explained. " I'm sure she will be back soon."
Recently, the mission work had come under questioning from charity donors, when the Dillards came to Arkansas to attend Amy Dillard's wedding. The fans wondered what had happened to their money.
