Maybe your clothing makes you drunk... or whatever!

Last Thursday Jessica Simpson sure seemed drunk when she appeared on the Home Shopping Network to sell her clothing line, the Jessica Simpson 10th Anniversary Collection. However, she appeared to be "unsteady, teetered on black high heels and slurred over her speech", said US Weekly. It wasn't the clothing, then, but her speech that attracted attention.

Simpson stood on stage with the HSN host Colleen Lopez to talk about her "Kiss Me" super skinny jean in gray during the two-hour "sell-a-thon." While she was making her presentation, she told a story about her younger sister, fellow pop star Ashlee. However, she seemed to be swaying and slurring.

"Ashlee is like the best at wearing gray, my sister," Simpson said, looking like she struggled with keeping her balance. "Like she's very rock and roll, but there is something about a gray that's like sexy."

"Maybe it's her and her husband (Evan Ross) that share jeans, I have no idea," Simpson laughed as she continued to ramble, "but no, there's something hot about them."

There was a storm of commenting on social media using the hashtag "#JessicaOnHSN," with many thinking that the former pop star was drunk or high, according to People.

Some appreciative comments also followed Jessica's speech. "It was fun to have Jessica make her HSN debut with her mother Tina last night," said HSN. "We were happy to host them and thrilled with the way customers responded to the collection."
