Japanese Tourist Dies While Taking Selfie At Taj Mahal Stairs
The world-famous tomb, the Taj Majal, was the venue for another 66-year-old Japanese tourist dyingThursday after he slipped down the stairs. An onlooker explained that he had been standing with three friends at the top of the stairs near the Royal Gate and tried to take a selfie when it happened, according to BGR.
While falling down, the man, H Ueda, got some nasty injuries in his head and fell to his death, unconscious, reported The Quint. He was rushed to a local hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Another friend also tumbled down and fractured his leg, according to the local police.
After the Japanese embassy got to know about it, it started an investigation, according to msn.
