‘Big Brother 17’ Spoilers: Steve and Vanessa into the Final 3, will Liz or John win the Third Spot?

As expected, Austin Matelson was the most recent houseguest to get evicted in last night's episode of "Big Brother 17."

In the episode, John "Johnny Mac" McGuire won the Power of Veto and saved himself from eviction after being nominated alongside Steve Moses by the Head of Household, Vanessa Rousso. Vanessa chose Austin as the replacement nominee.

During the voting process, Liz Nolan chose to evict Steve while John chose Austin, giving the tiebreaker to Vanessa, who ultimately evicted Austin. After being sent to the jury, Austin told Julie that no one would be voting for Vanessa. In the finale, the jury gets to vote for whom they would like to see as the winner of the show.

After the eviction, which was taped on Monday, Steve beat out John for the Head of Household, which was aired in Tuesday's episode. Although the live eviction will happen in Wednesday night's episode, Big Brother Network reported that Steve would be nominating Vanessa and John for eviction.

Vanessa, however, will be getting herself out of trouble by winning the Power of Veto. Liz will then be the automatic re-nomination and face John. Vanessa will then have the power to evict either houseguest. Vanessa's decision will ultimately come down to who she thinks she can beat in the finale.

The official Power of Veto results will air in Wednesday's live eviction episode. The episode will be airing tonight, Sept. 16 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.

The season finale will be airing on Wednesday, Sept 23. The winner will be walking away with half a million dollars.
