Christina Milian and Lil Wayne Break Up After One Year Of Dating; Decided To Remain Friends
Hiphop couple Christina Milian and Lil Wayne have decided to break up after one year of dating due to conflicting schedules.
In a report from E! Online, the couple, who are said to have remained friends after the split, wanted to give more time to their respective music careers.
"They have broken up. Their schedules started getting extremely busy and the distance was not easy for them both," the source said.
To cope with the breakup, the singer is seeking refuge in the company of friends, especially Chris Brown's ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran.
"They are not on bad terms. They just are taking a break. Christina is focusing on herself now and surrounding herself with her close girl friends like Karrueche Tran. They both understand each other and girlfriends are exactly what she wants about now."
Another source pointed out that the two had previous attempts to end their relationship, again, due to some disputes in their ultra-tight schedules, Perez Hilton reported.
"They've broken up a few times before. She's got so much going on with Grandfathered, her E! and Hulu shows, and working on her album with Wayne. It doesn't help that Wayne is all over the place too. They both have insane lives and schedules."
Christina Milian and Lil Wayne have started dating since July last year but have always kept their relationship away from the media eye.
It can be remembered that the songstress got herself a TnT tattoo which stands for Tina N' Tunechi - Wayne's nickname and gushed about their relationship in public, Business Standard said.
"I feel so inspired by the relationship that I'm in. It's like that careless, hopeless-romantic love where it's like, 'Oh my gosh, I will do anything for you'. It's just incredible," she once said.
