Carly Fiorina Dismisses 'Look At This Face' Donald Trump
"This is the face of a 61-year-old woman. I am proud of every year and every wrinkle," said Carly Fiorina, according to the Washington Post.
Carly Fiorina last Friday was responding to Donald Trump's comment: "look at this face." Her speech was a reaction to Donald Trump, who had jeered at her appearance during an interview with Rolling Stone.
Later, Trump tried to take back his comments, yet Fiorina kept firing at him while addressing a female crowd Friday night. "I am not asking for your vote and your support because I am a woman. I am asking for your vote and your support because I am the most qualified candidate to win this job and do this job," she said.
In the Republican primary, Fiorina plays the role of the lone female candidate. But like Trump, she has no political experience, being the former CEO of Hewlett-Packard.
Hence, both the aspirants for the same job, ie the President's, are being targeted by Fiorina as well as Trump. They will meet for this week's Republican debate on CNN.
Fiorina's face was put up by a super PAC supporter, in a video with the tagline "Look at this Face." The Carly For America showed Fiorina at various speaking meets and engagements. "Look at this face, and look at all of your faces. The face of leadership," she said.
She denied that she was going to demand an apology from him for his remark. "There's a long line of people asking him to apologize," she said. "I think Donald Trump is an entertainer, and I think I am a leader," according to hngn.
