In July, Bobbi Kristina Brown died after a long, hard battle. Today, her father, Bobby Brown, gives his first interview since she died, reminiscing that things could have been different for her if he had been around at the time.

She had been found face down in the bathtub last January. Bobby Brown is convinced that he could have prevented her death. On the syndicated talk show "The Real," Bobby turned very emotional, according to Page Six.

"If I could have been there two days before, it wouldn't have went down like that," said Brown as he sat next to his wife, Alicia Etheredge, wearing a necklace with a photo of himself and his daughter.

In a quick sneak peek clip, Bobby Brown took the audience through his harrowing six months when his daughter remained in a coma. "We prayed and hoped for six months for something better to happen," he said. "But when God calls you, he calls you."

Surprisingly, her mother, Whitney Houston, who died in 2012, had also been discovered facedown in a bathtub. Although lawsuits claim that Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend Nick Gordon as well as a "toxic cocktail" had led to her death, it was later ruled as an accidental drowning due to a combination of "prescription drugs, heart disease and cocaine".

"I'm pretty sure her mother was... had a part with like, 'Come on, let's get her up here," said Bobby of his daughter passing after all that time. "[Houston] was not comfortable by herself, I guess. She just called my daughter with her."

Earlier, Bobby had not spoken about his daughter at all, except to say: "Krissy was and is an angel. I am completely numb," he said at the time. "My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss in unimaginable."

The full interview will air on the season two premiere of "The Real" Monday, according to hngn.
