Jodi Arias Latest Update: The Murder Story That Refuses To Die Down
The Jodi Arias sensational murder case wherein Arias brutally slaughtered her boyfriend Travis Alexander in cold blood on June 4, 2008 is still garnering attention today. The case went viral at that time and was nothing short of a true life soap opera. The crime scene was a bloody mess with Alexander being stabbed nearly 30 times and suffering a gunshot.
The murder apparently took place right after an intimate session in the shower with Arias, who had been mulling and fuming over the fact that Alexander was not committing to the relationship with her. According to Mirror, shocking images of the time just before the murder in the shower, were found on a digital camera at the scene.
After years of ensuing court trials and compelling evidence, Arias was convicted of first degree murder and in early 2015 sentenced to life in prison without parole.
Receiving nation-wide media response, throughout the murder trial there were two sides battling the case for and against Arias' favor. But, the buck doesn't stop there. Even recently as reported by Q13Fox, a violent scuffle took place in West Seattle, as a result of an argument over the Jodi Arias murder case. Roman Benninghoven-Salado got furious over a comment made by the victim of the assault, and the argument ended up with the victim sustaining severe blows and multiple lacerations. Roman is on the run and a cash prize of up to $1,000 has been fixed for any information leading up to his arrest.
