Clouded Leopard Cubs Acquired By Zoo Miami
Zoo Miami recently got a couple of hot sisters---Malee and Suree.
Just six months old, this pair of spotten leopards got their first chance to explore their home, says the Miami Herald. Check out their lovely pictures here.
These clouded leopards belong to a shy and secretive species, and are being raised by their mother Serai in a silent and remote area. They are very endangered, according to The Daily Mail, mostly because their fur is so beautiful, which has been used by many cultures for ceremonies.
This is the second litter born to Serai, who hails from the Smithsonian Conservation Center in Virginia, while her mate Rajasi, belongs to the Nashville Zoo.
Born in March, they have given the public some stunning pictures.
While clouded leopards are of varying size, mostly between 30 and 50 pounds, they are found in the forests of Southern China, Taiwan and Malaysia, according to CBS Miami.
They are indeed a visual delight, according to hngn.
