'Welcome to Sweden' Renewed for Second Season

"Welcome to Sweden" is set to start its second season of 10 episodes on NBC. Greg Poehler the executive producer and also stars in the series.

 The comedy is based on Greg Poehler's life. The serial has already been picked for a second season in Sweden NBC's renewal comes after the comedy had already been picked up for a second season on  Sweden's  TV4

It had the second highest rated summer comedy debut among seven on the Big Four network .It has a 0.8 rating among adults (18-49) and 3.5 million viewers , reports deadline.com.

"Welcome to Sweden "is yet to declare its airing date, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

The cast of " Welcome to Sweden" features Greg Poehler, Josephine Bornebusch, Lena Olin, Claes Mansson, Christopher Wagelin and Per Svensson. The story line is Bruce Evans (Greg Poehler) and Emma Wiik (Josephine Bornebusch) is a perfect couple and he is a successful money manager for celebrities. Both fall in love with each other and agree to start a new life together in Sweden.

Later he realizes he has taken a huge step in his life with no job, friends, or real clue about what he is getting himself into.

He faces cultural challenges of living in a foreign land and the sitcom is about how he deals with all that.

The most notable part of the story is where he has to convince her Swedish parents who are Viveka (Lena Olin) and Birger (Claes Månsson). The couple move in with her parents. The series has got lots more interesting incidence to watch.

Amy Poehler, Aubrey Plaza, Will Ferrell and Gene Simmons make guest appearances as themselves in this offbeat single-camera comedy predominately shot on location in Stockholm.
