Josh Duggar Scandal Updates: Reality TV Star Not Remorseful For Being Unfaithful To His Wife
Josh Duggar's earlier public apology for his recently-revealed molestation and cheating scandal may not be sincere at all as a source close to the family said that he did these acts without remorse for his wife, Anna.
"No remorse. He is not the person everyone thought they knew," a source told Entertainment Tonight.
It was further revealed that the reality TV star always has a reason not to be suspected of cheating and for having multiple social media accounts on Facebook and Ok Cupid as he 'travelled for work all the time.'
"Anna didn't check up on Josh because she trusted him. When she found out about the cheating, she just cried," the source further said.
Previously, Josh's issued a public apology in the Duggar's personal website with him saying that he is 'the biggest hypocrite ever,' Gawker reported.
"I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife," he wrote that time.
Since the revelation of the Ashley Madison hack, Josh's actions had also affected his extended family.
Dillon King, who is recently married to his cousin, Amy Duggar, reported to have been buggered by strangers on Twitter.
"I have random people contacting me asking me about multiple Twitter accounts and whether they're Josh's. When I look, these accounts are full of tweets about porn," he said.
In previous reports, sources said that Anna is not considering a divorce despite Josh's molestation and cheating scandal.
"Anna will not leave him. As with her in-laws, she is turning more to her faith than ever. She and Josh are probably praying around the clock right now, I would assume. Maybe not publicly, ever, but privately, there will be some suggestion of whether or not she should have been more aware of the pressures Josh was under, of the issues he was facing, and how she could have better counseled him or helped him," a source from People said via Mail Online.
Josh and Anna Duggar have four kids. Anna is currently living with his in-laws while Josh stays in a correctional rehab.
