Katy Perry News: Songstress Rides On Segway And Fails At Burning Man 2015
Katy Perry shares a funny moment of herself trying to ride a Segway for the first time while having fun at Burning Man music fest.
In a video posted on Instagram, the Roar songstress was seen blending with the crowd with her outfit of oversized goggles, face mask, a fur coat and boots to combat with the strong winds haunting in the sandy Nevada's Black Rock City, Hollywood Life said.
The singer then rode on the Segway using one foot and made tight circles. The first attempts were a failure with Katy halting midway.
Impatient to be a pro, the singer tried one more time when she lost control of the device which runs on its own. Funny thing though, the popstar had to chase it before it goes nowhere.
The winds are reported to have a speed of 30 to 50 miles per hour this year which resulted to more whipping up of sand, a challenge that has proven difficult to an 'obvious first time burner' like the Prism singer, Vulture said.
The popstar's father, Maurice Hudson, joined in the social media buzz and posted his own version on how to ride a Segway like a pro. This time though, he did not do it in some sandy area like Burning Man, but in a sunny area in his neighborhood.
"Hey Bird, if you need lessons, this is how you do it," Katy's father said in the video clip posted on Instagram on Monday morning as mentioned in Mail Online.
Hudson then showed how to make a perfect turn using the Segway and ended the video with a laugh.
"Thanks dad," the 30-year old songstress replied to her dad's mini tutorial.
