Miley Cyrus Forced to Rest due to the Flu

Miley Cyrus has been forced to take a break after she came down with the flu.

The 22-year-old "Wrecking Singer" recently posted a picture of herself in bed on Sunday night with the caption, "When it's 100 degrees outside but you are feelin sickyyyyy and you are freezing."

In the shot, the make-up free 2015 Video Music Awards host was wrapped up in blankets. Cyrus later posted a few more shots of herself in bed with her numerous cats and dogs. In the picture with her cat, she wrote, "Reason 1,000,000,000,000 why I [heart emoji] kitties! Da best care takerzzzz! When I'm sick deez little puss pusssssss baby me."

In another shot with her collie, she wrote, "ALWAYZ count on the annyZZZ! We gotta always take care of em! They take such good care of us! Cyrus will reportedly have to remain bedridden until she her flu is over.

In the meantime, she has been active with her Instragrams. Aside from posting pictures of herself with her pets, she has also posted shots of herself getting her dreads taken out and a shot of what seems to be the inside of her throat, which was raw and inflamed.

Cyrus' Twitter account, however, has not had any activity since Sept. 2 (as of 4:00 p.m. ET on Sept. 7).
