When they're good, they're great. But when they're bad, they're worse.

Fans are perhaps the biggest part of being a celebrity. They make or break a public icon. While all the adoration and adulation from fans is the good part, the bad part is their heat, and their nasty rants on social media.

For the eighth installment of Jimmy Kimmel's popular "Mean tweets" segment, Kimmel had many celebrities read some of the nastiest tweets about them and recorded their expressions.

Among those invited for the latest segment were "Iron Man" actress Gwyneth Paltrow, "Girls" actress Lena Dunham and "Toxic" hitmaker Britney Spears too. "Friends" star Lisa Kudrow and "ER" actor John Stamos were also dissed. Even The "Zohan" Adam Sandler wasn't spared this time.

Some got real mean calling "Scandal" star Scott Foley "creepy" with a "raper face." One even went on to compare Chloe Moretz to their a**h**e.

Some celebrities laughed, some got upset and others were surprised. But the best reaction came from Chris Pratt.

"People are very quick to tweet unflattering things, but it's important to remember that everyone has feelings. From time to time, we ask famous people to read some of the not-so-nice things that are tweeted about them," Kimmel's YouTube channel description on the latest Mean Tweets read.
