‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’: Cynthia Bailey Demoted for Kicking Porsha Williams?
"Real Housewives of Atlanta's" Cynthia Bailey might be in trouble with the network after she and co-star Porsha Williams got into a physical fight while filming for the eighth season of the show.
According to an insider, the fight started with words first before it got very physical. The two were reportedly on a boat when the fight broke out over something that was very trivial. Kenya Moore and Kim Fields were also on the boat.
"Words were going back and forth," the insider said to PEOPLE. "From what I hear, Cynthia snapped and kicked Porsha in the stomach while wearing high heels."
The source added that Williams, 34, was sent to the emergency room where she got treated briefly. The police will not be involved.
"There will be no charges pressed as both ladies just want to put this past them and move on," the source said. "It was an unfortunate situation that escalated. Neither one is proud of what happened, but there will be no shortage of drama now that NeNe [Leakes] is gone."
"Everyone just wants to put it behind them," a source for E! News added. "There's a lot of filming left to do and they just want to move forward."
Although reps for Bravo TV have not commented on this alleged fight, rumors are circulating that they are reviewing the tape to see if Bailey crossed a line. TMZ reported that the show's bosses could demote Bailey from being a main cast member to just a guest role. TMZ added that the decision will probably not be made until after the bosses see how the fight affects the ratings.
Williams is not in trouble because the show allows verbal fights, even if one of the women is baiting the other.
There is no premiere date for season 8 of "Real Housewives of Atlanta."
