Android Lollilop Update: Huawei’s Honor Phones receive the updates

As reported earlier, though Android is all pepped up about the launch of the new version Android 6.0, Marshmallow, many devices across the world still continue to get updates of its current version lollipop, as well!

The latest to join the list of getting android lollipop updates is the Honor smart phone from the family of Huawei. The Honor models of this Chinese devices will receive the lollipop updates next month.

The Chinese leader in telecommunication devices has set out a strategy to update its devices for the latest lollipop updates. The strategy, as listed on its social media pages, reveals that the Honor 4C models will receive these updates to begin with on the 21st of September. The updates continue to the 25th of September, the day Honor 6 will receive updates, and September 29 will be the day Honor 6plus will receive these updates. Finally, after almost a gap of about a month of the 20th of October Honor 4X will get these updates.

On the day of the update, users of these devices will receive the notification about such changes. Alternatively, users can manually update their devices by going to the settings section under about phone section, and hitting the updates button.

Apart from the Chinese Honor, Samsung, the Korean company's devices, Samsung Note 4 (SM-N910F) will also receive lollipop updates in Europe. Samsung has successfully Updated the devices in Russia, Poland, and in the US, as well! Last week, Samsung released these updates via OTA, and was available in Italy, Austria, and Sweden. Now, users can download these updates on the KIES.

The update with build version of N910FXXU1COH4 will help the boost the performance of your device. These updates will help software with stability.

Also, many other devices such as HTC One M8 and One M9 have joined the list of the devices to receive the new lollipop updates.
