Adam Ward's Fiancee's Wedding Gown Arrives After He's Shot Dead
Before Adam Ward was shot at WDBJ, his fiancee, Melissa Ott, who also worked in the same company, was in the control room when she watched him dying.
It was her final day at the station, as they were planning to shift to Charlotte, North Carolina. Her workmates had given Melissa balloons and flowers just when she came, according to inquisitr.
They had got engaged in December 2014. One of their colleagues had actually tweeted that Ott's wedding dress arrived hours after Ward was murdered.
It was a heartbreaking moment, and Melissa Ott posted a touching, tragic message to her boyfriend on Facebook last night.
"Today, my entire world was flipped upside down. Starting new adventures with my fiance, new jobs, a new city. Getting married, having a family, buying a home. That's now taken. I'm not OK. And I wont be for a long time. But the enormous outpour of love and support from so many of you near and far is so much appreciated... Adam, I will never find a man so happy, selfless, protective, funny, or charming like you. You were the one. You understood me. My soulmate. I will always love you. Please watch over me and keep me strong. Enjoy the endless tech games in your heaven. I love you so much."
Memories of the dead Alison and Adam poured into WDBJ's morning show. According to CBS News, the anchors on the Mornin' show were very emotional during their first broadcast after the shooting. There was a moment of silence in the studio.
From all over the world, love for the two has been pouring in.
