Rosie O'Donnell's Daughter Leaves Home Again To Live With Birth Mother
Rosie O'Donnell's adopted 18-year-old daughter, Chelsea, is said to have left her adoptive family again. A week after she left her family and was then found, she has now opted to live with her birth mother, according to tmz.
O'Donnell last week reported through Twitter that her daughter was not found and asked her Twitter followers to locate her as well as her therapy dog, Bear.
Chelsea had stopped taking her medicine for a mental illness and needed attention, according to hngn. When she went missing last week, she had been found at the house of Steven Sheerer, a 25-year-old convicted heroin dealer whom she met on Tinder.
"Chelsea made a decision when she turned 18 that she wanted to go to her birth mother," a Fox411 representative said. "This was her choice."
On Monday, August 24, Chelsea turned 18 and left to move in with her birth mother, Deanna in Wisconsin. In 1997, Deanna had given up the girl for adoption.
Now she drove from her home state to pick her up on Monday afternoon, reported TMZ.
Angered at her departure, O'Donnell has cut Chelsea off financially, refusing to turn over her birth certificate and social security card.
Apart from Chelsea, O'Donnell and her ex had together brought up three other adoptive children. The former co-host of "The View" also adopted a daughter with her ex-wife Michelle Rounds.
