Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen Divorce Rumors: Football Star’s Deflategate Scandal Hurting the Marriage?

Will Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen be the next couple to break up?

The latest rumors are claiming that the New England Patriots quarterback and his supermodel wife might be headed for a divorce due to stress from the Deflategate scandal.

"There have been a lot of stresses in their marriage in the last year, especially during football season," a source allegedly close to Brady said reported by E! News. "Tom is singularly focused on his career and sometimes Gisele feels left out. There have been arguments."

The source added that Brady can be "nasty and cold" when he is dealing with his own issues.

Aside from the fact that Brady and Bündchen have not been seen together for weeks, Bündchen also did not show up to the Patriots' preseason game against the Green Bay Packers on Aug. 14 or to his court hearing. The supermodel has attended games in the past but could have been busy during that day.

The divorce rumors heated up when Ben Affleck's former nanny, Christine Ouzounian was seen wearing Brady's four Super Bowl Rings. Affleck, who is going through a divorce, and Brady had flown to Las Vegas for a charity poker tournament.

Despite these rumors, a source told PEOPLE that the couple has simply been busy.

"This summer was just a bit different," the insider allegedly close to Bündchen said. "Gisele had a lot going on, so they weren't always in the same place at the same time."

"They're living their life, and they're doing great," another source close to Bündchen said. "They didn't spend his birthday together because he was in training camp."

Bündchen did post a very sweet message on Instagram for Brady's birthday. She wrote, "Happy birthday my love! We're so blessed to have you in our lives. Thank you for always giving us so much love. We love you! #love #family Feliz aniversário meu amor! Nós somos muito abençoados por tê-lo em nossas vidas. Obrigada por sempre nos dar tanto amor. Nós te amamos! #Amor #família."

Brady and Bündchen got married in 2009. They have two children, Benjamin and Vivian.
