Duggar Family Update: Jessa Upset First Pregnancy Being Overshadowed by Big Brother Scandal
Sad times for Jessa Duggar as her first pregnancy journey would not have the chanced to be chronicled just like what her sister has experienced last year.
This, according to People, has made the 22-year old reality TV star upset as her pregnancy is being ignored.
"Jessa would have liked to have had the same sort of platform to give thanks, show what a miracle she feels her child is and express her gratitude. But with the cancellation of 19 Kids in May, "the show isn't there to chronicle this happy time, and even though she's posting on social media, the scandal still gets brought up by commenters. So much has changed for Jessa compared to what Jill experienced, and it can't be changed back. And that's sad for her," a source said.
TLC may have given a special edition devoted solely for Jessa's pregnancy like what they did for Jill's conception for son, Israel. But with the show's ruined reputation after the revelation of Josh Duggar's scandal on May, the TV network cancelled the whole thing.
"It is now bittersweet, because it's not lost on [Jessa] that Jill giving birth to Israel got an entire TLC special devoted to it," the source added.
Jessa and Ben Seewald have been active on social media updating their followers about the reality TV star's pregnancy.
Just ten weeks left before she will give birth, Jill Duggar's sister posted a throwback picture of her baby's first sonogram on Instagram, In Touch Weekly said.
"Throwback to exactly 10 weeks ago! #BabySeewald's first ultrasound at 19 weeks and three days! Amazing how we can take a peek at this sweet little face, tiny arms and legs, and even see the baby's umbilical cord! Such an amazing miracle! We're so grateful to God for you! Almost to the 10-week countdown... And your daddy and I can hardly wait to meet you!" she captioned the photo.
The young couple also engaged their followers into a poll which requires them to answer the gender of the baby which is due on November 1, Star Pulse said.
In the poll, interested followers may choose between five choices, on whether the baby is a boy, a girl, twin boys, twin girls or twins, one boy and one girl.
