Guliana Rancic and Kelly Osbourne Feud: Osbourne Calls out Rancic, says she is a ‘Liar’
Kelly Osbourne is not a fan of her former "Fashion Police" co-host, Guliana Rancic.
Osbourne, 30, spoke with TheWrap on Saturday about the return of "Fashion Police" and one of its hosts, Rancic.
"I will never admit to liking Giuliana because I don't," Osbourne said when she was at the 4th Annual NYX Face Awards in Los Angeles. "I don't think she's a good person and I think she's a liar."
Osbourne's comment came roughly six months after Rancic, 41, was criticized for stating that Zendaya's dreadlocks probably smelled like "weed" and "patchouli oil" at the Oscars. After Zendaya, 18, called out Rancic's racist comments, Rancic gave a heartfelt apology on the show.
Osbourne, who clarified that she was not involved with the comments at all, ended up quitting the show. Kathy Griffin, who was hired as the late Joan Rivers' replacement, also left the show shortly after Osbourne.
At the time, Osbourne explained that she wanted to pursue other opportunities.
During Saturday's award show, Osbourne praised the show's other hosts.
"Brad [Goreski] is one of the most incredible people in fashion, he is funny as f**k," Osbourne said. "I am so happy for Melissa [Rivers] that she is filling that seat and I want that show to go on. It was just my time to move on."
When asked if she would return to the show this past Saturday, Osbourne stated, "If certain people weren't there."
Osbourne was recently the criticized for making a seemingly racist comment during "The View." When the star was talking about Donald Trump's comments about Mexicans, she said, "If you kick every Latino out of this country, who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?"
The show's co-host Raven-Symone groaned at Osbourne's words while co-host Rosie Perez stated, "Latinos are not the only people doing that."
Osbourne has apologized for her comments.
Her statement read:
"I want to start by saying I ALWAYS take responsibility for my actions. In this particular case I will take responsibility for my poor choice of words but I will not apologize for being a racist as I am NOT. I whole-hearted fucked up today. I don't want to bullshit anyone with lame excuses. Although, I was stopped mid-sentence by Rosie and couldn't finish my point I will not let Rosie take responsibility for my words. I should have known better as I was on The View and it was live. I've learned a very valuable lesson. It is my hope that this situation will open up a conversation about immigration and the Latin community as a whole. By the way I clean my own fucking toilets."
"Fashion Police" is returning on Aug. 31 for the MTV Video Music Awards (VMA).
