Ben Affleck-Jennifer Garner Update: Why They Suffered Together Through His Birthday
Last week, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were forced to endure one day at Disney World to help their children enjoy their outing. The three kids: Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3, had a good time, according to designtrend.
So even though they parents didn't like it, "the kids had a great time, which is what they both wanted."
An insider agreed that "They are both making the best of a hard situation. It's hard to get through an amusement park sometimes with three kids. It's not always easy, especially when there are a lot of onlookers."
Ben Affleck didn't like the day at all, and turned to his friends, Matt Damon and Patrick Whitesell, to get some emotional support.
"They have formed a tight circle of protection around Ben and are determined to keep him from a full-on breakdown," said another insider. "Ben's taking all the blame for the end of his marriage. He didn't want her to leave, but he gave her no choice. He's really in bad shape and Matt and Pat are urging him to get past this as quickly as possible and stay focused on the work ahead of him."
Another source added: "He's naturally a workaholic anyway, but he's in a dark place now and only time and his friends can help pull him through."
What really puts him in the dock is the ex-nanny Christine Ouzounian, who is whispered to be in love with the "Batman" star.
"She thinks they're meant to be together," said Ouzounian's friend. "She says that it's perfect because the kids love her ... I think she really wants it to happen. but at the same time, she's not crazy -- I really do think there is something to the relationship."
Later, Affleck's friend, Damon, 44, who had not been able to join him for the 43rd birthday at Disney World in Orlando, mused on what his friend was going through after his split, according to usmagazine.
"I was in Boston with my family actually," he explained to give the reason as to why he did not participate in Affleck's birthday celebration. The Interstellar star added that his friend was doing fine even after the break-up.
"He's good," Damon claimed. "He's good."
