Bobbi Kristina Brown Update: Nick Gordon Breaks Twitter Silence to Post Loving Message to Bobbi
Nick Gordon has broken his Twitter silence to post a loving message to his late girlfriend, Bobbi Kristina Brown, who died on July 26 at the age of 22.
Gordon's tweet read, ""I look at our pics sometimes it makes me smile sometime I cry @REALbkBrown #happymemories."
Another one read, "I'm so happy/blessed that I had @REALbkBrown in my life. I will always & forever love you."
These tweets came after a lawsuit filed against the 25-year-old was amended to include wrongful death. The lawsuit, which was filed by Bobbi Kristina's conservator, Bedelia Hargove, also claimed that Gordon gave Bobbi Kristina a "toxic cocktail" before he "put her face down in a tub of cold water." The lawsuit is seeking at least $10 million.
Gordon's lawyers have called the lawsuit "slanderous and meritless." Gordon has not been arrested on any criminal charges.
Bobbi Kristina, the daughter of entertainer Bobby Brown and the late music legend, Whitney Houston, was found unresponsive in her bathtub on Jan. 31. She was taken to the hospital where doctors placed her in a medically induced coma. After months in care, Bobbi Kristina's condition did not drastically improve. She was moved to a hospice center where she lived out her final days.
After her death, the Brown-Houston family held her funeral on Aug. 1. Gordon allegedly asked for permission to attend but was denied. He posted last week on Facebook that he was planning on having his own service.
The post read, "We will have our own service remembering and honoring Krissi. Only the real family that actually was there for her will attend."
Bobbi Kristina was buried next to her mother in Westfield, N.J.
