Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner Update: Broken Family Celebrates Actor's Birthday Together
Ben Affleck had an interesting birthday in his 43rd year. His ex-wife and their three children came together to celebrate it. However, it had its own awkward feelings, said an attendee, according to people.
Their three children, Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3, attended the birthday party at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter on Saturday, at Universal Orlando Studios.
"They looked like they were having a great day together," a park-goer said. They were "smiling and the kids looked very happy and adorable too." Despite being recognized by others in the crowd, they were "just walking around the park like normal people."
But "neither of them looked too happy," said an observer. "They didn't even look at each other. They were talking to the kids, but they didn't talk or even look in each other's direction," added the onlooker. "They seemed like strangers - awkward strangers."
Both of them were gritting their teeth and managing to stick it out for the sake of the children. They have taken the children out to the Bahamas together and left for an odd shopping trip - even though there were some wild rumors that Ben is swinging a bit with their former nanny.
The couple had said since the split that they were focused on their kids, who will always be their priority, according to perezhilton. Another source revealed: "Everyone had fun. They put them first no matter what. All Ben wanted for his birthday was to be with his children."
