Jason Derulo had an untoward incident at the airport while getting onboard the Southwest flight from Reno, Nevada, to Los Angeles on his way to the Teen's Choice Awards in LA.

"It was a little mishap. Basically, there was a little confrontation with the people that work at the front," the hiphop artist told reporters from ET in MTV's red carpet moment.

The Wiggle hitmaker further said that they want to avoid 'ruckus' at the airport and wanted to travel low-key.

"My security was literally just trying to tell the agent, 'Can we go to this section so we don't cause a ruckus?' There's a lot of picture taking and that stuff going on. They weren't being very accommodating."

Moments after the conversation, Derulo and his team found themselves in an inconvenient situation as flight crew would not let them be on-board the plane.

"One of the guys came on the plane, and one of my people were like, 'You're full of s**t.' They were like, 'You guys got to get out of the plane.' They kicked us all off the plane."

The airline company has quickly responded to the rumors regarding Derulo's inconvenience felt at the airport.

In an official statement issued to People, the company said, "According to our employees, the group refused to follow boarding procedures. Initial reports indicate that several customers complained about the group's behavior. Our crew, responsible for the Safety and comfort of all customers on board, attempted to diffuse the situation; ultimately, local authorities were called and the decision was made to deny boarding to the group.

Southwest flight company, meanwhile, said that tickets for the musician and his crew were refunded.

In an Instagram post on Saturday, the Talk Dirty singer posted a video on Instagram saying something about the incident.

"I had to fire my travel agent for booking me somewhere I wasn't supposed to be. But now we're here, we're good."

He ended up boarding on a private jet to arrive successfully at the venue.

As for netizens, some of them gave out sarcastic remarks for Jason Derulo, Independent UK reported.

"Wow, all that talent (sarcasm), money and looks (more sarcasm), and you are still a massive tosser! Impressive."

"Any tw*t who feels the need to sing his own name at the start of every song deserves nothing but the best..."
