iPhone 6S Plus Release Date: To Drop in "September" on iPhone Day

As the world in general and technology world in particular wait anxiously, the rumors about the launch of Apple's new version of smart phone iPhone 6S Plus continue to spread left, right, and center. With September around the corner - the time of the year Apple releases its new models, as it has been doing for quite some time now - these rumors have gathered momentum.

An article published in Telegraph.co.uk speaks of one such release date rumor which claims "a Leaked internal email from Vodafone, "as its source, reveals that pre-orders for these handsets will open from September 18, while the actual sale date will be the 25th of September. While, the mail does not give out the specific name of the new mode, it simply says, "New iPhone."

The billion-dollar question now is what would be the name of the new model? Well, though there seems unanimity on this issue, everyone has an interesting reasoning; rumor behind what they believe could possibly be the name of the new model. The general rule, every one applies here is that, Apple usually calls a 4.7 inch display model Small or S, and a 5.6 Inch model Large or Plus, so the models would be iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus.

Apart from rumors surrounding the release date and the name of the new model, many stories about the specifications, etc are all doing rounds. If one were to believe these rumors, the new model will have the power of an A9 processor; will have the same design as its predecessor iPhone 6, comes with a 12-mega pixel camera to the delight of amateur photographers and iPhone lovers. The new model will be on sale in Gold, rose gold, gray, silver, and space colors. In addition, the new model will have the power of force touch, and Taptic engine used in Mac and Apple smart watches.
